Simple, Elevated Wellness

INSPIRED BY JAPANESE WISDOM
What do you want your next chapter to look like?

Your children are growing up.
Your parents are getting older.
And you may find yourself asking:
What do I want for myself now?
In Japan, we have a word called IKIGAI (生きがい), something that gives our life meaning, joy, and purpose.
As our lives change, our IKIGAI can change too.
Maybe this next chapter is about discovering your IKIGAI all over again.

Health. Purpose. Community. Freedom.
I’m Japanese and have lived in the U.S. for more than 30 years.
I’m a pianist and piano teacher, a health coach, and a mother of two.
Now my children are in college, my parents in Japan are getting older, and I find myself entering a new chapter of life.
Like many people at this stage, I’m thinking about more than just health.
As I think about my own IKIGAI, I’ve realized that meaningful work can bring together purpose, personal growth, community, and additional income.
I want meaningful work.
I want to take care of my health.
I want the freedom to spend time in both Japan and the U.S.
I want to keep learning, growing, and experiencing new things.
And most of all, I want to be surrounded by people who are asking some of the same questions.

For me, this next chapter means building meaningful work around health and wellness while creating greater purpose, flexibility, and freedom in my life.
I’m now looking for a small group of people who feel the same way and would enjoy learning and growing together.
Maybe we can discover our next IKIGAI together.
